"Unlock the Magic of BBQ: Spicy Cajun Voodoo Ribs with Claibe's Signature Rubs!"

When it comes to BBQ, the true magic happens in the intricate blend of flavors that can transform a simple piece of meat into a culinary masterpiece. The key to this transformation is the rub—a mix of spices that imbues the meat with depth, complexity, and a signature taste that keeps us coming back for more. Claibe's BBQ, known for exceptional quality and unparalleled flavor, offers a range of signature rubs designed to elevate any BBQ experience. Among these, the Texas Voodoo (Spicy Cajun Rub) stands out as a bold choice for those who crave a bit of heat with their smoke.

Ingredients:

2 racks of pork back ribs

2 tablespoons Claibe’s BBQ Hog Heaven (Pork Rib Rub)

1 tablespoon Claibe's BBQ Texas Voodoo (Spicy Cajun Rub)

Instructions:

Preheat your smoker to 225°F, using Post Oak or Hickory wood for the best flavor.

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Generously dust the ribs on both sides with Claibe’s Pork Heaven, followed by Claibe's Texas Voodoo for a touch of heat. Let the ribs rest for about 30 minutes.

Place the ribs bone side down on the smoker and cook at 225°F until they achieve a rich mahogany color, approximately 2½ to 3 hours.

Remove the ribs from the smoker and place them bone side down on a piece of butcher paper. Lightly wet the meat side of the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce mixed with an equal part of water. Wrap the ribs and return them to the smoker until they reach an internal temperature of 203 - 205°F.

Remove the ribs from the smoker and keep wrapped. Rest until until the internal temperature drops to around 140°F.

Unwrap, slice, and enjoy your perfectly smoked ribs!
