Spicy Grilled Shrimp with Claibe's Texas Voodoo Rub

Dive into the depths of flavor with our Spicy Grilled Shrimp using Claibe's Texas Voodoo Rub. This dish combines the fiery kick of cayenne pepper with the natural sweetness of fresh shrimp, resulting in an unforgettable BBQ experience that is both savory and spicy.

Ingredients:

1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Claibe's Texas Voodoo Rub

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lemon, cut into wedges

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before use)

The Prep

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, Claibe's Texas Voodoo Rub, fresh parsley and olive oil. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

The Cook

Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, ensuring they are not too tightly packed to allow even cooking.

Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through with a slight char.

Remove the shrimp from the grill and squeeze fresh lemon juice over them. Garnish with chopped cilantro.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the grilled shrimp with a side of tangy coleslaw and grilled corn on the cob for a complete BBQ meal.

Pair with a refreshing drink like a citrusy white wine or a cold beer.

Additional Notes:
